In Memory Of
Judy Diane "Sis" Harrison
1946 - 2022
Mom was mostly a homemaker after getting married. Mom found her passion starting her own business for a number of years, grooming dogs in our home, Judy’s Puppy Palace. She was one of the best, grooming show dogs on a regular basis. In the 80’s the family moved to Colstrip, Montana then on to Buffalo, Wyoming, purchasing the Cross C Campground, meeting and enjoying campers/travelers from all over the world. Later, Mom and Dad moved to Laurel, Montana for work then back to Casper for the remainder of her life.
Mom enjoyed gardening and canning her product as well as making chokecherry and plum jam to give away to family and friends. Cooking and baking was another past time. Beads were a craft she dearly loved, meeting every week with a group of family and friends, creating Christmas ornaments to send to all her nieces and nephews and numerous other family members. Camping, hunting, fishing and family gatherings were great memories growing up and continued until her death.
Judy is survived by her daughter, LaVonda Peterson (Todd), 5 grandsons Gregory Foster, Taylor Peterson, Jason Harrison (Taylor), Michael Harrison and Matthew Harrison. She is also survived by 3 great grandchildren, Peyton, Canon and Jaylee. Brothers, Roger Brunette (Sheryl) and Terry Brunette (Debbie), sister -in law Shirley Van Brundt, aunts, uncles and numerous nieces and nephews. Mom is also survived by her loving dog, Meaka and 4 cats, Bubbles, Bandit, Shilo and Missy.
Mom never remarried after the death of her husband Cliff, who predeceased her by 32 years. She is also predeceased by her son Kevin Harrison, parents John and Verona Brunette, brother Edward Brunette, nephew Craig Brunette
Donations are welcome in Judy’s honor to local cancer charities, Casper Humane Society and I would like to send a special thank you to Inhabit Home Health and Hospice
