On January 19th, 2023 we said goodbye to our beloved Mary Alice Deal Ireton who had just had her 80th birthday.
Mary Alice was born on December 23, 1942 to Ralph and Mary Ann Deal. She grew up in Dolores, Colorado where she married Bart Nelson and had two children, Elizabeth and Byron.
Later she married Cecil Ireton and together they enjoyed playing bingo, watching Jeopardy and going for breakfast at the Plains.
Mary Alice Ireton is survived by her mother, Mary Ann Deal; brother, Jim Deal; daughter, Elizabeth Nelson Elliott; granddaughters, Brandi Jones and Danielle Kirk; grandsons, Barton and Benton; and numerous great grand children.
Mary Alice was preceded in death by her father, Ralph Deal; brother, Robert Deal; husband, Cecil Ireton; ex-husband, Bart Nelson; and her son, Byron Nelson.
She was loved by many friends and neighbors, especially her closest friend to the end Craig Corley. Sincere thank you from Mary Alice's family for all the support and love she was shown.
