Dianne Rosalee Jacobson peacefully passed away on November 29, 2023, at Wyoming Medical Center surrounded by her family.

Dianne was born to Donald and Rosalee Axlund on April 10, 1944, in Denver, Colorado. Her early years were shaped by education at Sacred Heart Catholic School in Missoula, Montana, followed by her graduation from Billings Central Catholic High School in Billings, Montana. Dianne embarked on her professional journey as an operator for Mountain Bell Phone Company and later American Title Company.

A defining chapter of Dianne's life was her dedication to nurturing and caring for others. Alongside her husband, Morris, she operated a day-care center for over two decades. Beyond the challenges and joys of caring for numerous children, Dianne cherished their three children, Rosalee, Tony, and Stephen. They fostered a special-needs child, Crystal, whom she embraced and raised as her own. Crystal thrived for eighteen years, enveloped in Dianne's unwaveringly tender and compassionate care.

Dianne's resilient spirit and unwavering faith were profound sources of strength and solace throughout her life's journey. Her commitment to her beliefs provided her with the fortitude to navigate life's trials and to offer boundless love and support to those around her.

In addition to her remarkable dedication to children, Dianne's life was characterized by her generous heart, and unwavering devotion to her family and friends.

Dianne was preceded in death by her husband, Morris; her parents, Don and Rosalee Axlund; her siblings, Greg Axlund, Robert Axlund and Anna Marie Lund; and her foster daughter, Crystal.

She is survived by her brother, George Axlund (Marlene), her children, Rosalee Swanton, Tony Jacobson and Stephen Jacobson (Madelyn Malan and son, Ryatt), and many special cousins, nieces and nephews. Dianne will be dearly missed and remembered for her kindness, resilience, and unwavering love.

The vigil service will be Wednesday, December 6, 2023, at Newcomers Funeral Home at 7:00 pm. A funeral Mass will be held on Thursday, December 7, 2023, at Our Lady of Fatima Parish at 2:00 pm.
