Charles G. "Chuck" Yunko, 76, of Casper, Wyoming passed away Wednesday, January 10, 2024 at Central Wyoming Hospice in Casper.

Chuck was born on April 30, 1947 in Kearney, Nebraska to Albert and Frances Yunko. He was educated at Black Hills Army Depot "Igloo, South Dakota". Chuck graduated from Provo High School in 1965 and went on to the University of Wyoming and graduated with a Bachelors of Science degree in Petroleum Engineering in 1970.

Chuck worked 39 years for various oil and gas related companies in the Rocky Mountain area and Prudhoe Bay, Alaska. He retired in 2009.

Chuck married Eva Bagley on October 14, 1972 and together they had two sons, Scott and Casey.

Chuck enjoyed golf, fishing and spending time on his South Dakota property.

He was preceded in death by his parents; his beloved wife, Eva; and a sister, Mary Yunko.

Chuck is survived by his children, Scott Thomas (Jaime) Yunko of Minot, North Dakota and Casey Albert (Nicole) Yunko of Broomfield, Colorado; five grandchildren, Jewliya, Brennan, Alise, Daisy and Sunny; one brother, Al Yunko; and numerous, nieces, nephews and other relatives.

A private graveside service will be held at Highland Cemetery in Casper. A memorial service for Chuck will be held in the spring.

Arrangements are under the direction of Newcomer Casper Chapel.
