Shirley Lou Bonnet passed away March 17, 2024 in Casper, Wyoming.
Shirley was born in Twin Valley, Minnesota to Melvin and Clara Largis on April 27, 1938. She spent her childhood with her family and brother, Richard growing up on a farm.
She met husband, Gerald Bonnet, on a blind date and were married in 1969. They adopted their daughter, Heidi, on March 21st, 1974 and lived in Fargo, ND. The family also lived in Twin Valley, Minnesota and Las Vegas, Nevada before settling in Casper, Wyoming.
Shirley was a nurturing caretaker and started her own daycare business. She was also involved with her church’s childcare programs. In addition to church and women’s groups, Shirley enjoyed bowling and crafting.
Shirley is survived by her husband, Gerald Bonnet, daughter, Heidi Olson; grandchildren, Landin; Canonn; Brook; and Boston Olson; and great grandchild, Navin Covault.
A memorial service is scheduled for 2:00 pm Friday, March 22, 2024 at Our Savior’s Lutheran Church, 318 East 6th Street, Casper, WY 82601
