Ada Louise Church
1930 - 2024

Ada Louise Church, 93, of Casper, Wyoming passed away Sunday, March 31, 2024.

Ada Louise Church was born as Ada Louise Hawkins on July 14,1930 in Lebanon Missouri, to her father, Arthur Hawkins and her mother, Essie Bowling.

In 1948, she married Ernest Glen Jones and together they had one daughter, Darlene, later divorcing. Ada then met Richard Francis Church at work. In 1956, they were married and moved to Casper and had 3 children, Richard, Vickie, and Terry.

In Casper, she worked at many places but the longest was at the Ramada, where she retired after 25 years. During those younger years of her life, Ada thrived and flourished in the things and people around her.

She loved to roller skate and draw. To have family dinners on Friday nights and to go to church and be in the presence of the Lord.

Ada had a soft spot for her furry friends, treating each and every one like the valuable family member they were. Loving to feed the nearby deer and squirrels, also taking long drives with family to wherever the four tires might take them.

After a long life surrounded by lots of friends and family, she died at the age of 93 on March 31, 2024, in Casper, Wyoming. Joining her parents, her husband, and all 9 of her siblings, Martin, Paul, Clifford, Tunney, Albert, Arthur, Waldo, Barbara, Helen, her son Richard, grandson Larry Turner Jr., great grandsons Johnathan Hughes, Michael Hughes, Joseph Hughes. Leaving behind her children Darlene Neal, (Jeryl)Vickie Lee, Terry Church. Grandchildren Eva Turner, Angela Windsor, Chris Turner, Goldie Vu-tighe, Sheanna Virden, Alexis Church and many great and great-great grandchildren.

Services will be held for Ada at Church of Christ on Thursday April 11th at 11 am.
