Alice Joanne Corson

Our beloved "Grams", Alice Joanne (Sutton) Corson was born on October 11, 1931 in Westover, Pennsylvania, and shattered the hearts of the family she left behind when she went to be with her beloved husband, daughter, and grandson on May 31, 2026, in Casper, Wyoming, at the young age of 94.

She was married to the love of her life, Donald Ray Corson, on September 15, 1950, and together they raised two children, Donna Jean, her wild child, and Donald Ray, II, her adored son, in what was then the "wilds of Wyoming". She was a kind, loving soul and a "motherly" influence to several of the younger generations that came to Wyoming to take advantage of the new opportunities available.

In 1970 she would welcome a grandson, Christopher, who would become the apple of her eye, right up until the end of her time here on earth.

She was a joy to be around and enjoyed the trips home to Pennsylvania with Don and her children, and later Chris. In her later years she lived with Chris and Ann and enjoyed the weekend road trips to Cheyenne to visit Don and Becky, and trips to Alcova for butter pecan ice cream. Her great grand children and great great grand children were the shining stars of her universe, and the reason she stayed so young and spry.

She is survived by her loving son, Don, and his partner, Becky; grandson, Chris and wife, Ann, numerous great grandchildren, great great grandchildren, cousins, nieces, nephews, extended family and good friends who will truly miss her wit, charm and charisma, and two cats, who will miss her companionship.

She was preceded in death by her beloved husband, parents, grandparents, daughter, a grandson and daughter in law.
