Angela Dawn Pomroy Dax
1958 – 2025
Angela Dawn Pomroy Dax, 66, passed away on May 3, 2025, surrounded by love. Born in Lincoln, Nebraska, Angela spent her early years traveling with her Air Force family before settling in Casper, Wyoming, where she spent most of her life.
Angela was known for her infectious laughter, warm heart, and the way she made everyone feel like family. She loved going fishing with Mark, camping with friends, and spending time with her best friend Eddie. Her daughter, grandsons, and great-grandbabies were her pride and joy, and she never missed a chance to show her love.
Angela had a gift for making others smile—whether by playing a game of dice, crafting handmade gifts, sharing delicious baked treats, or serving as the best bartender her friends and family ever knew. She loved thrift shopping, riding motorcycles, and doting on her beloved cats. Her generosity, humor, and unmistakable presence will never be forgotten.
She is survived by her father Donald Pomroy; her siblings Donnie, Dave, Joe, and Lori Pomroy; her daughter Heather and biological son Josh Carrillo; her grandsons Cortez Leonard, Cruz Lee, and Nigel Hageman; and her great-grandbabies Dax, Emias, and Kodie.
Angela was preceded in death by her mother Margaret Pomroy and her brothers Doug and Dave Pomroy.
A celebration of Angela’s life will be held on Saturday, May 24th, at 2:00 p.m. at Washington Park in Casper. All who knew and loved her are welcome to attend and share memories.
She will be deeply missed by all who had the joy of knowing her.
