Anna Mae Whitlock

October 4, 2026, our beloved Anna Mae Whitlock passed away.

She was the daughter of Jasper and Alice Cook of Republic, Missouri. She was 88 years old, born June 21, 1938. During her high school years she was voted class president, valedictorian of her senior class, was a cheerleader all four years, and has always said that her 4 years of high school was one of the best times in her life. After high school she married the love of her life James Whitlock, married for 66 years before his passing. She made many good friends in her life including the best friends made playing bridge.

Anna is survived by her son, John C. Whitlock; grandsons, Joe Whitlock; Cody Whitlock; and Zack Whitlock; and 6 great grandchildren.

Anna Mae Whitlock was loved deeply by everyone who knew her and she will truly be missed by us all.
