Annie B. Engleman, age 96, went peacefully to be with her Savior Jesus on September 11, 2026.

She was born in Oklahoma on July 17, 1930 to Henry and Ellen Higginbotham. Her family moved to Wyoming when she was 3 years of age.

She graduated from Natrona County High School and afterward married Wesley G. Engleman in 1948. They were married 65 years before Wes’ passing in 2014. Two sons and a daughter were born to them. Wes, Ron, and LaDean. After the children were in school, she went to work in the family business, The Hub Floor Covering, retiring after 25 years.

Annie enjoyed bowling, camping, fishing, working in her yard, and loved the outdoors.

Annie was very active in her Church. She was a charter member of the Mountain View Baptist Church. She and her husband being involved in the construction of the original building. She taught Sunday School to generations of children over the course of 42 years of serving her Lord.

She was a visible example of a great trust in God. Her unwavering faith and love of her Savior will be missed by all.

Annie is survived by her son Wes and wife Colleen, Ron and wife Mary, of Casper. Also, her daughter LaDean and husband Dawson Haux of Sundance, Wy. Along with her sister Dorothy Gentry of Providence Village, Texas. She is survived by 5 grandchildren: Tammy Waltemath, Rick Engleman, Joe Engleman, Christina Frantz, and Robert Engleman. 10 great grandchildren, and 7 great-great grandchildren; along with many nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents, husband Wes, her sister Barbara and brother-in-law Larry Kennemer of Mesa, Az. Also, her brother-in-law Brian Gentry of Mesa, Az.

Viewing will take place September 15th at Newcomer Funeral Home, 710 E. 2nd Street, from 4:00 – 6:00 P.M.

Services will be held September 16 at College Heights Baptist (Upper) Church, 600 W. 21st Street, at 10:00 a.m.

Internment will be at Memorial Gardens Cemetery, with a reception for family and friends to follow at the College Heights Baptist Church (main building), located at 1927 S. Walnut Street.
