Antoinette Marie Washburn, “Toni,” was born August 28th, 1944 in St. Louis, Missouri and went to her eternal home on November 8th, 2025 in Casper, Wyoming.
Toni was preceded in death by her husband of 52 years, Donald Washburn, her mother Theresa Valenti, brother David Morgan, daughter JoAnn Arlington, and two sons Patrick Vincent and Wallace Anthony Buero.
Toni is survived by her loving daughters Kathy Reish, Theresa Fountain, Lyn Washburn, Barbara Curtis, seven grandchildren, and 10 great-grandchildren. She leaves many other family members and friends who will sadly miss her.
Toni started working in St. Louis, Missouri as a switchboard operator where she met her future husband, Don. They both became over-the-road CDL truck drivers and worked together while seeing sights all across the United States. Toni finally retired from truck driving and worked at Hobby Lobby part time where she enjoyed her co-workers and customers.
Toni found pleasure and relaxation by reading books, listening to music, and working in her garden. She also loved cooking and baking bread and never shied away from family requests for her famous potato salad, homemade spaghetti and meatballs, and potato soup.
Giving to charity was a passion for Toni and Don. Together they donated to The Rescue Mission, The Disabled Veterans Association, Highland Park Church and a few others.
There will be a private funeral service at the Oregon Trail Veterans Cemetery with family, and a celebration of life will be held at a later date.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Central Wyoming Hospice.
