Barbara Ann Boam

Barbara Ann Boam 81, of Hanna passed away April 26, 2025 at Shepherd of the Valley Rehabilitation and Wellness Center in Casper.

She was born January 9, 1944 to Charlie and Retha Pippin in Ozark County Missouri.

She was married to Ronald Boam on April 4, 1980. They remained married until his passing in 1999.

She is survived by her daughter Ann Calvert (Seith Konrath), grandson Conner Konrath, brother Gale Pippin, sister Nola Smith and numerous nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by Husband Ronald Boam, sisters Viola Starkey, Ovadee Martin, Nadine Koroulis, brothers Larry Pippin and Jerry Pippin. Nephew Edward Starkey, and niece Melissa Koroulis.

Barbara was the first documented woman in the Hanna Basin to work in an underground coal mine, when she worked in Hanna, for the Energy Development Company.

Barbara will forever be remembered as an outspoken, say what was on her mind kind of woman, who loved gatherings with her family and friends.

Funeral services will be held on May 3,2025 at the First Baptist Church of Hanna, at 1:00pm. Graveside services and a luncheon to follow.
