Barbara Ann Brigance, a beloved mother, sister, and grandmother, made her peaceful transition from this life on October 11, 2025, in Casper, Wyoming. Born on September 15, 1947, in Boston, Massachusetts, Barbara's journey was characterized by her loving, caring, and compassionate nature, which she shared generously with those around her.

Barbara is survived by her cherished daughter, Tonya Brigance, who held a special place in her heart. She was a devoted sister to her brothers, Bernie (Karen) Baker of Colorado and Wendell Baker of Illinois, and her sister, Patricia Baker of Missouri. Barbara’s legacy will also continue through her grandsons, Jamaine, Jeryell and Darius, and many nieces and nephews, as well as her seven beloved great-grandchildren, each of whom brought her immense joy and pride.

Barbara is proceeded in death by her parents, Burnham and Lorean Baker, who laid the foundation of love and kindness in her life, and her grandmother, Parthina Henson.

Family and friends are invited to pay their respects during a visitation honoring Barbara's life, which will take place at the Newcomer Funeral Home, located at 710 E 2nd St, Casper, WY 82601, on October 22, 2025, from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM.

As we remember Barbara Ann Brigance, we celebrate a life filled with warmth and compassion that touched the hearts of many. Her memory will forever live on in the stories shared and the love given to those who were fortunate enough to know her.
