Barbara Anne Kujawa, a cherished figure in the hearts of many, passed away peacefully at her home on September 26, 2025, at the age of 86. Surrounded by her loving family, Barbara’s final moments were wrapped in warmth and love, a fitting farewell for a woman who devoted herself to caring for those around her.

Born on April 15, 1939, in Gaylord, Michigan, Barbara was a proud graduate of St. Mary’s High School. Her foundation of education laid the groundwork for a life built on strong values and unwavering faith. Throughout her life, she trusted in the Lord with all her heart, a testament to her steadfast character and graceful spirit.

Barbara’s career began as a Greeter at Kmart, a role in which she excelled, welcoming countless customers with her radiant smile and kind demeanor. However, her most rewarding role came when she embraced the responsibilities of a homemaker. She created a warm, nurturing environment for her family, where love and laughter reigned supreme. Her devotion to her loved ones resonated deeply, as she found joy in every moment spent by their side.

Barbara’s legacy lives on through her daughters, Adrianne Kujawa and Karen Koch (Eric Koch),brother Mike and Connie Zaborowski, granddaughter Jordan Koch (Donald), and great granddaughter Rowan,  who carry forward the values she instilled in them. While Barbara’s absence leaves an undeniable void, her spirit will forever shine through their lives and the lives of those who had the privilege of knowing her.

Barbara was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Peter Kujawa, and their daughter, Mary Fogle, alongside her devoted parents, Anthony and Celia Zaborowski. These cherished family members continue to hold a special place in her heart, even beyond this world.

As we remember Barbara Anne Kujawa, we celebrate a life lived with intention and love. Her kindness and strength will remain etched in the memories of all whom she touched, a beautiful reminder of the profound impact one soul can have in this world.
