Beth Ann McMahan, age 74, of Casper Wyoming passed away peacefully on Jul 1st 2025 at the hospital surrounded by loved ones after a brave battle with cancer. Beth was born October 25, 1950 in Madison Wisconsin to Patrick Joseph and Dorothy Kelliher. She grew up on the family farm near Blue Mounds Wisconsin with her two sisters and three brothers. She went to Deneen Country School through 8th grade. She graduated from Mt Horeb High School in 1968. Beth married her high school sweetheart Dave McMahan in Mt Horeb in 1970. They had their first son, Travis, while living in Wisconsin. They then moved to Colorado Springs where she began her career with civil service and the Air Force and had their second son, Jason. They then moved to Casper WY where they had their third child, Jessica. Even though Dave and Beth were no longer married, they remained close friends until the end. She worked at Hilltop National Bank where she made cherished lifelong friends. After time, Beth returned to civil service and worked for the Department of Energy/US Naval Petroleum Reserve for 22 years until her retirement. She loved going to the movies and happy hour with her girlfriends and was an avid fan of her soap operas. Beth enjoyed having nightly competitions with her kids and son-in-law on who would know the most answers on Jeopardy. She especially enjoyed just spending time with her kids and her grandson Kai. She loved to take pictures and got involved in genealogy always working on her family tree. Beth loved the yearly road trip with her sister Kathie traveling to Wisconsin to visit family every summer. She was lucky to go to on a dream trip to Ireland with her daughter in 2015.
She was preceded in death by her son Jason, her parents, her brother Larry, her brother Keven, her sister Connie, and her brothers-in-law Perry McMahan and Tom McMahan. She is survived by her son, Travis, daughter, Jessica (Todd), and grandson Kai, Dave McMahan, her sister Kathie Hutchison and her brother Dennis Kelliher, along with numerous aunts, nieces, nephews, cousins and in-laws.
Those who knew Beth Ann will miss her thoughtful cards, her phone calls and her overall kindness and positivity.
Services for Beth will be held Saturday, July 19th 2025, at 1:00 pm at Newcomer Funeral Home.
A Celebration of Life will follow at Occasions by Cory located at 303 S. Wolcott in Casper WY 82601.
