Listen to Obituary

Beverly Jo Stamm entered eternal rest in God’s loving arms as the sun set on January 2, 2026.

Beverly was born on February 18, 1934, in Cheyenne, Wyoming. As a young girl, she lived on the Shellback Ranch, where farming and wide-open skies helped shape her love of animals and nature.

She met Byron Stamm on the Cheyenne military base, a meeting that sparked a devoted marriage and a lifetime partnership. Beverly was 19 when they moved to Casper, Wyoming, where she raised their three children and lived the remainder of her life. Beverly and Byron shared many cherished seasons together, celebrating 64 years of marriage, until his passing on January 9, 2017, at the age of 86.

Beyond her devoted love for her family, Beverly found joy in the simple pleasures of life. One of her greatest loves was traveling around the country with Byron in their motorhome. She also developed an affection for dancing, music, photography and the arts. At 60, Beverly began painting with watercolors, and Wyoming sunsets became one of her signature inspirations, often featured on the birthday cards she sent.

Beverly had a tender heart for dogs and was rarely seen without a faithful companion close by. She rescued and cared for many chihuahuas over the years.

Beverly was an active member of the Catholic Church, where her faith was a steady part of her life.

Beverly is survived by her three children, Kim, Kip, and Kurt; two grandchildren, Erik and Logan; and three great-grandchildren, Kaitlyn, Odin, and Cole. She was preceded in death by her parents, Ethel and Joe; her husband, Byron; and her grandchild, Peter.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Beverly’s name to the Casper Humane Society.
