With profound love and gentle sorrow, we celebrate the life of Bonnie Elaine Mesrobian, who passed peacefully on December 8, 2025, at the age of 78. She was born on June 25, 1947, in Rock Springs, Wyoming, and remained a proud Wyoming native throughout her life. She also lived in Somerset, California and Idaho for a shorter time.
Bonnie’s life was defined by strength, compassion, generosity, humor, and an unwavering devotion to those she loved. Bonnie earned her associate’s degree and completed her education. Her career was with the Bureau of Land Management where she worked as a supervisory secretary. It was there, in Rock Springs, that she met the love of her life, John Mesrobian. Their first date was a bike ride together and this marked and sparked the beginning of a beautiful marriage. They then went on to share 40 wonderful years of marriage filled with companionship, loyalty, and deep love.
Bonnie lived life with enthusiasm and joy. She loved the outdoors and embraced many adventures including fishing, camping, canoeing, downhill and cross-country skiing, and swimming. In her younger years, she and John especially enjoyed bicycling together. She was an avid reader, a movie lover, and could never resist a popcorn during a film. Bonnie also had a natural talent for interior decorating and loved exploring garage sales in search of unique treasures. Her pet cats held a special place in her heart, offering companionship and comfort throughout her life.
Above all else, Bonnie’s passion was her family. She often told John that her children were her heart, and she loved each of them dearly. She supported her family through every triumph and hardship, remaining steady, present, and loving no matter the circumstances. Bonnie had a heart of gold and was truly a gem of a lady.
Bonnie is now reunited in heaven with her beloved children; Andrea Lamorie (daughter), Willard Lamorie (son), Kaleigh Mesrobian (daughter), and Caden Anthony Mesrobian (grandson). She also joins her parents, sister, and other cherished family members who passed before her.
She is survived by her devoted husband, John Mesrobian; her sons, Dustin Mesrobian and Mark Mesrobian; her sisters, Billy Jelouchan and Linda Ennis; and several grandchildren, all of whom she loved deeply and carries a piece of her light, love, and heart.
In her later years, Bonnie worked at Big Lots for 11 years, where she formed close friendships she treasured dearly. She also previously worked at CY Junior High where she also made close friends, continuing her lifelong commitment to community and service. As a woman of Catholic faith, she carried her values with her in every part of her life.
Bonnie Elaine Mesrobian will be remembered for her loving soul, her resilience, her warmth, and the countless lives she touched. Her legacy and torch lives on in the hearts of her family and all who were fortunate enough to know her. May she rest in peace, surrounded by the love that shaped her extraordinary journey.
