Brenden Nicholes Day

Brenden Nicholes Day was born on March 17th, 1996 and passed unexpectedly on November 14th, 2025 at the forever age of 29.

Brenden was a 2014 graduate of Natrona County High School. At the time of his passing he was employed at Taco Time, where he was a valued employee and loved by his coworkers.

Brenden’s interests included his Washburn, Ibanez, and Squire Stratocaster guitars in which he cherished and played often, He was an absolutely amazing guitarist. He hated his picture taken or any videos – so not many of him playing without them being secretly taken. If you were caught he would “kindly” ask you to “knock it off!” He enjoyed hiking in his spare time along with fishing with his mom and brother. He was always so overjoyed when his mom would “land a fish!” Brenden, his mom, and brother, Ethen, would sit and play video games and laugh and laugh and laugh.

Brenden grew up in a close-knit family where the majority of holidays were spent at Grandma and Grandpa’s house or at an aunt of uncle’s house where all the family gathered to celebrate. As he grew up, along with everyone else, the traditions lessened but the intense love never wavered.

Brenden is preceded in death by his grandpa, Arthur Edward Day and grandparents Bobby J. and Marcella B. Cook.

Brenden is survived by his mother, Hillery Day; father, Sean Day; brother, Ethen Day; grandma and grandpa Sherry & Curt Nelson; many aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends.

Brenden’s funeral will be Monday, December 29, 2025 at 1:00 pm at Newcomer Funeral Home, 710 East Second Street, Casper, WY 82601 with James “Jim” Cook officiating followed by a graveside service at Wyoming Memorial Gardens, 7430 West Yellowstone Highway Casper, Wyoming 82604 officiated by Bobby Cook.
