Bud Lester Keeler

Bud Lester Keeler, 89, of Casper, Wyoming passed away Sunday, January 11, 2026.

Born to Clara Eckhardt and Lester Keeler February 26, 1936 in Worland, Wyoming. Bud passed away in his home January 11th, 2026. Bud proudly served his country in the US Army and was stationed in Germany and was later honorably discharged. He felt fortunate to be afforded the opportunity to have an education through the military courses offered. He became a welder that was highly regarded for his great attention for detail. Bud was an avid outdoorsman that enjoyed hunting, fishing, and taking walks in the mountains. He had a deep admiration for Airedale Terriers and was known for taking them for walks around the Three Crowns Golf Course while his health allowed it. Bud enjoyed sharing stories and wisdom at his favorite restaurant Johnny J’s.

Bud is survived by his two daughters Melody (Randy) and Leslie, along with three grandchildren.

There will be no services per his wishes. His family will spread his ashes along with his beloved dogs Dixie and Willow in the Sierra Madres mountain range in Wyoming.
