Candace Lynn Contreras (Sisneros) was born on July 13, 1967 in Riverton, Wyoming. She lived most of her life in Casper, Wyoming where she graduated from Natrona County High School.
She passed away on November 30, 2025 at 11:11. She was full of life and had an energy that will never be matched.
Candace met the love of her life at a social event and the two quickly became inseparable. They were married in 2010 and have spent their years together, celebrating life, love and every precious moment they shared.
She floated through life like a true social butterfly lighting every room with her laughter whether she was singing, dancing, cooking or sharing quiet moments with her husband, her love for her family, and friends was boundless. Her heart always open always giving. The lake was her peaceful haven one of her favorite places to be.
Candace leaves behind a legacy of love and will be dearly missed by her husband Ismael Contreras, her parents Monica and Jose Vega, her daughters Olivia Munoz, Salina Martinez, Renee Martinez and Raquel Contreras as well as her grandchildren that she cherished and raised like her own Alize and Angelo Munoz as well as Fabian and Dezmin Munoz, Mercedes, Rageinae and Jamia Renova, Jose Ruiz, Anecia and Gianni Gomez and great granddaughter Ariana Roldan. Siblings, Corinne Kiehn, Christopher (Shannan) Vega and Adrian (Lindsey) Vega. As well as so many family members and her closest friends.
Candace will be received in heaven by her father Candido Sisneros, her grandmother Norma Lopez, her uncle Bruce Jensen, along with other family and friends.
In celebrating her life, we honor a woman who embodied life, laughter, and love in all she did. Candace will be remembered for her electric personality and her profound dedication to the family she cherished so deeply.
In closing we honor the way she would have wanted-with her unforgettable phrase that would make everyone laugh “Vatos locos forever”
The family does appreciate any flowers for her services or any donations to be made to her husband to help with funeral expenses.
A Visitation for family and friends will be held at 5:00pm, Wednesday, December 3, 2025, at Newcomer Funeral Home.
A Rosary will begin at 5:30pm, Wednesday, December 3, 2025, at Newcomer Funeral Home with the Visitation to continue until 7:00pm.
A Funeral Mass will be held at 10:00am, Thursday, December 4, 2025, at St. Anthony's Catholic Church in Casper.
