Carol Ann Matzke

Carol Snedden Matzke, 75, of Casper Wyoming, passed on Saturday September 5th, 2026 at Shepherd the valley. Carol was born in Casper Wyoming on November 9, 1950. She graduated from Natrona County high school in 1969. She was an avid painter/crafter for many years till her hands and eye sight no longer allowed her to create the way she wanted. In her childhood her family lived on Casper Mountain. The mountain always held a very special place in her heart, as did her granddaughters. She is proceeded in death by both her parents Bruce and Dorthy Snedden, best friend Clancy and her husband (Milo) Galovich. She is survived by her brother Robert Snedded, and sister Judy Gerstell of Green River, Wyoming, her daughter Kathryn and her husband (Michael) Russell, and their daughters Brianna and Hannah Russell of Omaha, Nebraska, and son Tyler Matzke of Casper, Wyoming, along with her niece and nephews, she will sadly be missed by all.
A celebration of life will be held at a later date, spring of 2027, on Casper Mountain.
