Listen to Obituary

Carol Marie Torres passed away on Saturday March 28, she was born in Denver on July 6, 1967 to Bob and Mary Torres. She was a happy child who loved everyone and always had a huge smile on her face that never faded. Carol lived in Denver until the summer of 1976 when the family moved to Glenrock. There she started attending school and continued until she was able to graduate.

As an adult, Carol lived in many group homes throughout Wyoming and made many friends along the way. She was a member of "Up with People", a group who traveled and spoke about acceptance of individuals with disabilities.

Carol enjoyed going on trips to visit with extended family and especially to the Casino and Bingo. Her pastimes were knitting and crocheting. Whatever it was that she made, she would give to her nephews, fully expecting them to use.

Her family was her greatest joy, especially her nieces and nephews. She never forgot a birthday, anniversary or other significant date. Her birthday was a big deal, as was Christmas because she loved getting gifts.

She is survived by her Mother Mary, brothers John and Pete (Faith) Torres, sister Roberta (Tom) Hedges, Nieces Lindsay (Jordan) Kragten, Chelsea (Ryan) Castro, Nephews Kenny (Crystl) Peasley, Michael Hedges, Kent Hedges, Joseph Torres, Kate (Bob) Bury, Robby (Robin) Torres and Aubree Torres. Numerous Cousins, Great-nieces and Great-nephews and step-Nieces and Nephews.

She was preceded in death by her father Bob Torres, nephew Tyrel Peasley and grandmother Delia Torres. She will be missed by many.
