Dave Arndt

David S. Arndt, 75 passed away on Saturday October 3rd, 2026 with family at his side after a brief illness. His first priority was always his family; he never hesitated to show his love even if it was in his own way.

David was born in Big Rapids, Michigan on October 20, 1950, to Selmar “Pete” and Carolyn Arndt. David met Susan and they were married in May of 1978. David had one son, Pete, who was a blessing every day to him.

David received an Associate of Applied Science Degree in Radio - Television Service from Ferris State College, a Bachelor’s of Science Degree in Trade Technical Education from Ferris State College, a Master’s of Arts Degree in Education Systems Development from Michigan State University, and P.H.D in Education in Applied Science and Technology from the University of Wyoming.

David served in the U.S. Army and was deployed to South Korea during the Vietnam War. David taught Electronics at Casper College for forty years, from August 1985 to August 2025. He loved hunting, fishing, and camping.

David is survived by his wife, Susan; son, Pete; sisters, Kathleen; Sally; Carol; Maureen; and Patricia; and brothers, Richard; and Robert.

David’s memorial service will be a private ceremony. Memorial donations may be sent to the Casper College Foundation and designated to Electronics majors for financial assistance.
