David Frank Wingerter

David Frank Wingerter, known to many as Dave, was born on December 29, 1979, in Sheridan, Wyoming. He passed away on September 16, 2025, in Casper, Wyoming. David's life was marked by a passion for learning and a strong dedication to his family and friends.

He graduated from Kelly Walsh High School in 1998 and further pursued his education at the Conservatory of Recording Arts and Sciences in Tempe, Arizona, along with numerous continuing education courses for the Oil and Gas industry. David worked for various oil and gas companies, including Sperry Sun/Halliburton, which showcased his intelligence, particularly in IT-related matters. He also ventured into entrepreneurship as the owner of Siggys Sandwich in Watford City, North Dakota.

Outside of his professional pursuits, David was a gifted athlete, excelling in baseball and hockey. His interests extended beyond sports; he was known for his obsession with magic, rocks, and DJing. He had a profound love for Astronomy and dreamed of becoming the best chef, taking great joy in cooking and preparing special dishes for family and friends. As a chef, two years in a row, he achieved National Recognition as one of the top 5 contestants in Online National Cooking Contests.

David was married to Lindsay Veeder of Watford City, ND, and together they welcomed a son, Sylas Terry, in 2010. The couple later divorced. He is survived by his mother, Edwina Wingerter, and father, Terry Wingerter, along with numerous uncles, aunts, and cousins. He was preceded in death by his brother, Derek Leo Wingerter, who passed away in 2015.

David's family and friends will remember him as a beloved figure whose vibrant personality and passions touched the lives of many. He will be deeply missed.

A Rosary service will take place on September 22, 2025, at St. Patricks Catholic Church in Casper, WY, beginning at 1:00 PM, followed by a Mass at 1:30 PM at the same location.
