Deborah (Debbie) Mayo never met a person she couldn't nickname. Family, friends, coworkers, complete strangers, it didn't matter. If she knew you for more than five minutes, chances are you had a name you didn't start with.

Debbie was born on March 28, 1968, in Alabama to Ida and Jack Mayo. She grew up alongside her sister, Char, and brothers, Jack and Bill. When she wasn't being talked into laying on the ground so her brothers could jump their bicycles over her, she could usually be found roller skating at the Wagon Wheel in Casper.

Debbie was the kind of person who said exactly what she thought. She could make you laugh when you least expected it, and she had a gift for turning ordinary moments into stories that would be retold for years.

She loved caramel macchiatos, road trips with her kids, scuba diving in Aruba, Yankee Candles, plants, and just about any animal she came across. Some of her happiest days were spent on her Harley, riding alongside her partner, Mike. She had an uncanny ability to do math in her head and was usually faster than anyone reaching for a calculator.

Debbie appreciated a clean house. In fact, she appreciated it so much that she was known to start making the bed while her kids were still in it, reminding them it was time to get up for school. She rarely left the house without her hair done and makeup on because she believed there was no reason not to look your best.

More than anything, Debbie was proud of her four children, Amber, Laura, Josh, and Sam, and her grandchildren, Maddox, Alma, Phoenix, Charlie, Cooper, Iver, Mason, Gabby, Tyler, Noah, and Maya.

She was also proud of the family she built around her, including her two sons-in-law, nieces and nephews, cousins, close friends, and extended family. She never missed an opportunity to brag about them.

Debbie also had a work ethic that was out of this world. If she set her mind to something, you could consider it done. She wasn't afraid of hard work, long days, or figuring things out as she went.

Debbie was funny, stubborn, and impossible to forget. The people who loved her will miss her laughter, her nicknames, and the way she could make even an ordinary day a little more interesting. Her absence leaves a space that cannot be filled, but her stories, her spirit, and the countless memories she created will continue to live on in the people who loved her.

Family and friends will be holding a private farewell at a later date.
