At her request, no services will be held for Diane Maria (Walters-Jordan) Goehring. She asked that in lieu of a service, people make it a special point to help someone in some way today. A residentof Casper, Diane passed away on (July 19th 2025).

Diane was born on December 31, 1951, in Casper, to Kenneth and Frances Walters. She graduated from Kelly Walsh High School in 1970. On January 1, 1984, she married her soul mate and best friend, Dennis Goehring. They spent 41 wonderful years together.

Diane worked for the City of Casper City Manager's Office for 34 years. During those years, she worked with 4 City Managers, 32 Mayors and numerous Council members. She was very proud of her service to the City, and had worked on many special projects through the years that gave her a great sense of accomplishment

Her activities and interests included a passion for the outdoors. No matter if it was hunting, fishing, or camping, she loved the beauty of Wyoming. She very much enjoyed the Christmas season, and loved to host her annual Christmas Eve get together with family and friends and great Swedish food. Diane also very much enjoyed her trips to Riverton and Deadwood with her sister, Denise.

Diane is survived by her best friend and beloved husband, Dennis; a son, Kenneth Goehring; and, an estranged son, David Jordan of Casper. She is also survived by two grandchildren that mean the world to her and that she loves very much, Cleve and Abigail Jordan. Even though she was not allowed to see her grandchildren, she kept "treasure boxes" for them, and hopes that someday, they will be able to share her life through cards, mementos, etc, Diane is also survived by a sister, Denise Walters of Casper, and a brother, Wayne Walters, of Oklahoma City; two great grandchildren; and, several nephews and one niece.

She was preceded in death by her grandparents, parents and brothers, Robert and Dick.

She was a beloved wife, mother, sister, grandmother, great grandmother, daughter and friend and will be missed by the many people who lives she touched.

Memorials can be made in her name to the Central Wyoming Hospice and Transitions.
