Dorothea Jean (Dottie) Hoeppner

Casper- Dorothea Jean (Dottie) Hoeppner, 98, passed away peacefully at Central Wyoming Hospice with family by her side, Monday November 10, 2025. She was born August 6, 1927, at Casper Memorial Hospital to Violet and Jean Rolland. She married the love of her life Robert Dean (Bob) Hoeppner Dec 17, 1949. They have five children Kathy (Steve) Straight of Phoenix, AZ, Kristina (Tony) Delgado of Casper, WY, Karen (Rich) Hoeppner-Bowman of Calico Rock, AR, Robert (Bob) Hoeppner of Cheyenne, WY and Kari (Tim) Mitchell of Casper, WY.

Dottie is survived by her 5 Children, 9 Grandkids, 16 Great Grandkids and 2 Great Great Grandkids.

She is proceeded in death by her love of her life Bob Hoeppner, sister, Caroyln Hubbel and Parents, Violet and Jean Rolland.

Through the years Dottie touched many lives. Being the Block Mom of 44 neighborhood kids, fixing booboos, giving haircuts to the boys on the porch and giving guidance to those who needed it. Dottie loved kids as it showed in her Girl Scout Troop of 37 girls. She found her artistic abilities and enjoyed craft meetings with her lady friends, which blossomed into her being at the top Tri-Chem Instructor for Wyoming, helping others find their artistic talents. She later enjoyed acrylic/oil painting on canvas, painting rocks, some too life like to imagine, and enjoyed working many craft fairs including booths at the Fair and Rodeos here in Casper and Douglas. She hand-quilted quilts for everyone in the family until her poor hands could no longer hold the needles. Each and every one will be cherished.

Dottie and Bob traveled extensively worldwide, but Mom always said there is no place like home and was always happier at home. Mom loved her family the most and was always available to talk through your problems, give the best hugs and most importantly making you feel so loved.

She will be dearly missed by her family and friends, such as the block kids that kept in touch, thank you for that, it meant so much to her.
