Dwight "Ike" Salyers Walker of Glendo, Wy, was born to Fred and Lola (Nolke) Walker September 21, 1951 in Torrington, Wy., and passed in Casper, Wy., on April 29, 2026. He was the second of four children born to Fred and Lola. Ike served in the US army in 1971 and 1972. Upon returning to civilian life, he attended Sheridan College, rodeoed and began a life of trucking and ranching for his Stepfather, Gene Russell, of Glendo. One of his joys was being a rodeo announcer in the Nebraska, Wyoming area and attending Ranch Rodeos.

Ike was preceded in death by both parents, Stepfather, sister Mary Ann Simpson and Nephew Scott Oliver. He is survived by wife Sherry Walker, brothers Fred (Cindy) Walker of Edgemont SD, David (Susan)Walker of Torrington, eight nieces and nephews, and special Goddaughters Amanda and Amber and many cousins.

No services are planned at this time. A celebration will be held at a later date.
