Eleanor (Ellanore) Elaine Rosberg, age 87, passed away peacefully at her home on November 23rd after battling a long illness. Eleanor was born in Bottineau, ND., on February 13, 1938 to Wesley and Mabel Counts.
Eleanor married John "Bunny" Rosberg on December 7, 1955, in Minot, ND. Together they ventured around Wyoming, following Bunny's various construction jobs and building high lines. They settled down in Casper in 1963 with their 3 children: Guy, Nicki, and Brenda. Eleanor worked a few jobs: Woolworths at the deli counter, a car dealership as an accountant, and the Unemployment security office. She also did mending at a dry cleaners and personal sewing and mending for people at home. Mostly, she enjoyed being a housewife and mother and doing crafts. Eleanor loved sewing, ceramics, tole painting, needlepoint, etc. She tried a little bit of everything. Her latest passion was her Serger! She embellished many a dishtowel, potholder, pants, shirts, whatever she could get her hands on. In the summer you would find her out gardening, weeding, canning and maintaining the hollyhocks and poppies that surrounded her house in the yard.
Eleanor is preceded in death by her parents, 7 brothers: Noble, Jim, Lawrence, Bob, Reynold, Kenny and Mickey: daughter Kimberly: son Guy: and grandsons Shaun and Chase.
Eleanor is survived by daughters Nicki and Brenda: 4 grandchildren, Eric, John, Taylor, and Trevor: and 9 great grandchildren.
