Eliseo “Pat” Cordova, beloved husband, father, grandfather, great-grandfather, brother, and friend, passed away surrounded by the love of his family.
Eliseo was born on March 17, 1949, in Barr Lake, Colorado, to Eliseo and Martha Cordova. During his early years, he lived in Laramie, Wyoming, and later spent time at St. Joseph’s Orphanage in Torrington, Wyoming, and The Children’s Home in Casper, Wyoming. These experiences helped shape the strength, resilience, and compassion that would define his life.
On September 8, 1966, Eliseo married the love of his life, Lydia Perea. Together they built a life centered hard work and devotion to family, sharing nearly six decades of marriage.
Eliseo was a skilled carpenter and auto body repairman. He proudly owned and operated Pat’s Body Shop for more than 25 years, earning the respect of customers and friends through his craftsmanship, honesty, and willingness to lend a helping hand. He loved working on cars and was always ready to help anyone who needed him.
Above all, Eliseo cherished his family. He loved fiercely and would do anything for those he cared about. His strength, generosity, and unwavering support will be remembered by all who knew him.
He is survived by his loving wife, Lydia Cordova; his daughters, Tammy Sorensen (Chad), Marie Cordova, and Shelly Ann; his grandchildren, Mitch Sorensen (Annie), Martin Vasquez, William Cordova, Brianne Vallot (John), Matthew Cordova, Alex Vasquez, and Ariana Salazar; as well as numerous great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren. He is also survived by his sister, Ruby Romero (Bob); his half brother, Tim Lopez; and numerous step siblings and foster siblings.
Eliseo was preceded in death by his parents and other loved ones who welcomed him into eternal rest. His legacy of hard work, kindness, and unconditional love will live on through the many lives he touched. He will be deeply missed and forever remembered.
