Elois Ellen Miller

Elois E. Miller, 101, turned the last page of her book on July 13, 2026 at the home of her daughter.

Elois was born in Wheatland on March 21, 1925 to Benjamin Lockett and Etta Fletcher Lockett. She graduated from Glenrock Parkerton High School in 1942. Elois and Preston Miller were married in Reading, Pennsylvania on October 10, 1943.

Some of Elois’s favorite past times included cross stitching, rock hunting, and baking cookies. She worked for a number of years as a cook for Glenrock Elementary School.

She is survived by her three children, Ronald (Donna) Miller of Glenrock; Rita Redig of Glenrock; and Vernon (LeAnn) Miller of Casper; six grand children and 6 great grandchildren.

She is preceded in death by her husband Preston in 1995; parents, Ben and Etta Lockett; and her sisters, Mary Crawford; Iva Dewees Keller; and Barbara Riley.

She will be remembered fondly by all who knew and loved her.
