Listen to Obituary

Emily N. Schlager, 33, of Casper, passed away Friday, July 11, 2025, surrounded by her loving family.

Emily was born to Robert and Amy Decker, March 30, 1992, in Casper, Wyoming. She married Jonathan Schlager in 2018. In those seven years, they fostered a love that will last forever.

Emily’s zeal for life was beyond measure. She enjoyed spending time in the outdoors, watching birds, camping, fishing, and traveling. Her joyous wonder for all of God’s beautiful works in nature was only matched by her exuberant love for her family.

Her gentle heart shone brightly reflecting the love and warmth of Jesus. She was excited to share her faith and pray with those around her.

Emily was quick to take care for others, share with those in need, and brighten the lives of everyone who knew her.

Her courage and inner strength were beyond measure. She stood by her beliefs, unashamed and unafraid, no matter the cost.

She is now dancing with Jesus and would want her life to be a testimony of the goodness of God.

Emily is survived by her husband, Jonathan Schlager; her parents, Robert and Amy Decker; and her sisters: Becky Royer and Sarah Henry.

Services will be held at Restoration Church (411 S Walsh Drive) Saturday, July 19, 2025, at 2pm.
