Eva Martinez

Eva Martinez, 82, of Casper, Wyoming passed away Sunday, April 19, 2026.

Eva Martinez was born on October 19, 1943, in Chihuahua, Mexico, to Maria de la Luz Levario and Meliton Mata. She was raised with strong values rooted in faith, hard work, and the importance of family—values she carried with her throughout her life.

She married Manuel Martinez, and together they created a home centered on love, respect, and tradition. They raised five children: Cesar Martinez (Elvia), Sylvia Medina (Alfredo), Manuel Martinez Jr. (Brandy), Lorena Martinez, and Oscar Martinez.

Eva was a dedicated mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother. She was blessed with 14 grandchildren and 5 great-grandchildren. She cared deeply for her family and showed her love in simple, meaningful ways—through meals, time spent together, and always being someone they could count on.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Manuel Martinez; her daughter, Lorena Martinez; her son, Manuel Martinez Jr.; and her granddaughter, Nubia Medina Martinez.

Eva will be remembered for her strength, her care for others, and the close-knit family she helped build.
