Floyd Lynn Holly

Passed into the arms of his savior Jesus on November 23, 2025 at the age of 83.

He is survived by his wife Carol of 60 years, daughter Dorothy, son Bill and son Wilbur.

He had three grandchildren, Brenda, Benjamin, Jordan. 5 greatgrandchildren: Lilly, Isaac, Keenen, Dominic, Eliana and numerous Nieces and nephews.

He is preceded in death by his parents: Floyd and Martha, Siblings: Lester, Esther, Clara, Caroline, Art, Allen, and Edward, niece Linda.

Lynn was born and raised in the Laramie Wyoming area.

After his service in the Navy he ventured to Dubois, WY where he met and married Carol and their ranching adventures began.

Eventually they made their way to Casper where he worked in the oil field until he retired.

Once retired he went right back to the ranch life with Carol and his Red Missy by his side, for as long as his body would allow.

During his ranching years he imparted his work ethic, knowledge and experiences on his kids and grandkids.

Hunting, fishing, mechanics, he did it all and passed those skills on as well.

He was proud of his kids and grandkids for their accomplishments whether it be work or school.

Several of the things that stand out are keeping tabs on “his girls” as he referred to them, as they each worked on and continue to work on their educations.

He always wanted to know how school was going and where the next travel adventure was taking his oldest great-granddaughter.

He and the boys had many phone calls over the years, to discuss farm equipment, horses, cows, dogs, and vehicles.

They managed to solve many problems together. Making him still feel a part of the farm/ranch life.

He told us often these last few months, that he had lived a good life and when his time came, he was ready to go.
