Franklin Nick Wilson

Franklin "Nick" Wilson, 67, passed away on March 4, 2026, in Casper, WY after years of declining health. Born in 1958 to Glen Douglas and Wanda Mae “Metty” (Foster) Wilson in Jackson, Wyoming, Nick attended elementary schools in Wilson and Jackson. He later moved to Pavillion, graduating from Wind River High School in 1977. Nick was a dedicated athlete and a state champion wrestler. 

He served in the U.S. Navy from 1978 until his honorable discharge in 1982, continuing in the Naval Reserves until 1984. After his service, he worked as a carpenter in Norfolk, VA, before returning to Pavillion to care for his father. He eventually settled in Lander, Wyoming, later moving to Casper. 

Nick is survived by his four siblings: Kathy Wilson, Wade (Diana) Wilson, Laura (Bob) Leseberg, and Charles (Mony Cook) Wilson, as well as several nieces, nephews, and two great-nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents. 

Cremation has taken place, and services will be held at a later date.
