Garry Allen Leih, 82, of Buffalo, WY passed away peacefully on Sunday, January 11th, 2026. He was born in Litchfield, Minnesota. Garry join the United States Navy and served 4 years. After getting out of the military in 1967 he met the love of his life, Beverly (Arends) and they were married and in love for 58 years at the time of him passing. They started their home in Coon Rapids, Minnesota where they lived for 5 years. Before moving to Emily, Minnesota where we lived for 28 years. Garry was a machinist and had many certificates from different college courses. When moving to Emily, MN, Garry went to work for Burlington Northern Railroad in Brainerd, Minnesota until he retired. After retirement he started his own business "Garry's Backhoe Service". In 1996 they moved to Monument, Colorado as he ran "Garry's Backhoe Services" before fully retiring and moving to Casper, Wyoming. They lived in Casper until Beverly fully retired, then they traveled for a while. Once they came back, they moved to Buffalo, Wyoming where they acquired a deep love for the Big Horn Mountains.

Garry leaves behind his wife Beverly (Arends), his 2 children Shannon (Tony) Cole of Casper, WY and Shawn (Brenda) Leih of Underwood, Minnesota. His 4 grandchildren, Bethany LaSart-Nation (Earl), Jaxson Cole, Emma Cole, and Brodi Leih-Cole. As well as 3 great- granddaughters all of Casper, Wyoming, many nieces and nephews, brother-in-laws and sister-in-laws.

Garry is preceded in death by his parents Adelle Grindall, step-father Clifford Grindall, his father Carl Leih and step-mother Eldean Leih, a grandson, his 3 sister's and 2 half brothers. Also his in-laws Lyle Arends and Geraldine Arends, many aunts and uncles and 3 brother-in-laws.

Garry will be deeply missed by his family and friends.

Garry's Memorial will be held at Newcomer Funeral Home in Casper, Wyoming on January 28th, 2026 at 1pm with an option to join via Livestream.
