Gary Harold Chalton

Gary H Charlton, 86 of Casper Wyoming, passed away at home on Wednesday July 23, 2025, surrounded by loved ones.

He was born on March 4, 1939, in Roundup Montana to Harold and Evelyn (Buckey). He was raised in Roundup along with his brother Gordon.

His first marriage was to Jackie McCamey on July 21, 1957 and together they had four children. A second marriage added an adopted son to his family.

On September 13, 1985 he married Nancy (Reed) which brought a stepdaughter into the family.

During his first marriage he served in the National Guard from 1954 to 1958.

Most of his working years were with Getter Trucking first in Montana and then in Casper, retiring from Black Hills Trucking.

He is survived by his wife of 40 years Nancy, of Casper Wyoming. Sons Pat (Cindy), of Billings MT, Jim of Billings MT, Tim (Elizabeth), of Roundup MT and Waylon (Lynda), of Billings MT. Daughters Tina (Terry), of Plainfield WI and Nicole (Kenneth), of Casper WY. He is also survived by 13 grandchildren and 17 great grandchildren whom he loved dearly.

Services will be August 5th, 2025, at 2:00 pm at Newcomer Funeral Home. The internment will be at a later date in Billings Montana.

In lieu of flowers the family requests donations to Central Wyoming Hospice.
