Gary A. Taylor

With saddened hearts we announce the peaceful passing of Gary Taylor on December 5, 2025. Gary Allen Taylor was born August 6, 1957 in Kimball, Nebraska to Chester and Mary Elizabeth (Addleman) Taylor.

Gary is preceded in death by his grandparents, Tom and Dorothy Addleman, father and mother; brother, Allen; sister, Dawn Taylor Williams; brother, Harlan "Harley" Taylor, and brother, Bertie Taylor; and niece, Lisa Pratt.

He is survived by his sister, Sharon Ellsberry of Casper, Wyoming; brother, Tom Taylor of Casper, Wyoming; brother, Terry (Christina) Taylor of Rawlins, Wyoming and Kimball, Nebraska; niece, Kimberly Taylor of Buffalo, Wyoming; nephews, Tony (Stephenie) and Patrick (Morgan) Taylor; their mother, Patsy Taylor all of Rawlins, Wyoming; sister-in-law Karen Taylor; and brother-in-laws Chris and Stephen (Jessica) Taylor, all of Casper; and many additional family, friends, and nieces and nephews.

Gary worked at Wyoming Woolery for many years. He worked as an oil field truck driver and laborer. He had many hobbies and interests including hunting, fishing, trapping, he loved spending time with and babysitting his nieces and nephews. Gary was the family historian; he was the go-to man for birthdays, names, and family stories and history. He was a great storyteller. He loved watching TV and was a regular at the movie theatres.

Gary's Celebration of Life will be announced at a later date.
