George Dean Kissler

George Dean Kissler, 75, of Casper, Wyoming, passed away on August 19, 2026, at Banner Health after a long battle with kidney disease. He was born on June 28, 1951, in Riverton, Wyoming, to Reuben C. Kissler and Alvina Blanche Cadwalader Kissler.

George grew up in Casper, graduated from Natrona County High School in 1969, and earned a degree in Political Science and Economics from the University of Wyoming in 1975.

George worked in sales throughout his career, beginning with Greiner Ford in Casper and later Streeper-Garvin Motors. He went on to work in manufactured housing, electronics, and retail before joining Walmart, where he was valued for his ability, work ethic, and intellect. Although he was offered management positions, he declined them, preferring less responsibility.

George was a cat lover. He befriended all the cats around his house; indoors and outdoors.

George is survived by his sister, Cathy (Kissler) Cook; his daughter, Natasha Williams; and his grandchildren, Brandon and Angelina Hansen. He was preceded in death by his father; his mother; his brother, Ron; and his brother-in-law, Bob Cook.

He will be remembered for his love of music, cars, reading, and conversation, as well as for the humor and hearty laugh he shared with those around him.

Services will be held Wednesday, September 2, 2026, at 1:00 p.m. at Newcomer Funeral Home, 710 E. 2nd Street, Casper, Wyoming.
