Janice Eleanor Horesco, 74, of Bar Nunn, Wyoming passed away Thursday, April 24, 2025.
Janice was born and raised in Bridgeport Connecticut, graduating from Central High School with a business course in 1968. After graduation she worked for Blue Cross/Blue Shield Insurance Company. She later became secretary to Dr. Taylor and Dr. Flynn of the Orthopedic Surgery Group in the Waterbury and Southbury offices. Her favorite vacation spot was “Yellowstone Nat'l Park” where she fell in love with Wyoming and its wildlife…especially the wolves. I’m sure she’s taking care of all the animals in heaven. She was a loving wife, mother, sister and friend.
Janice was preceded in death by her parents Florence (Seaman) and Richard Baisley, and brother Richie. She is survived by Ron, her husband of 53 years, her daughter Joy-Lynn Harper of Kiowa, Colorado, and a son, Ron Jr. of Casper, along with her sisters; Florence (Honey) Shultis of Trumbull, Connecticut and Joyce (Jim) Brownell of Oxford, Connecticut. Janice is further survived by brother-in-laws; John (Jean) Horesco of Georgia, and Roger Horesco of Southport, Connecticut, as well as many dear cousins, nieces and nephews. Jan’s favorite companions were her fur babies Romeo and Juliet. She had a strong faith, honored America, and our military, and had honest political opinions. She made close friends in Connecticut, Wyoming and Texas. I miss our daily talks and FaceTime visits (Joyce). She is missed by all. 🙏
