Jeff Orland Galutia “Bones” was born July 11, 1957 to Cecil and Glenda Galutia at Memorial Hospital in Casper, Wyoming.
Jeff went to grade school in North Casper and graduated from Natrona County High School. He has many friends from school.
Soon after graduating, Jeff married Janet Campbell. Together they had a daughter Jessica and later divorced.
Jeff and Sandra Brewer were together for 15 years before they married August 20, 2022.
Jeff was employed by various businesses around Casper.
Jeff joined the US Navy and served honorably on the USS John F. Kennedy as a corrosion control specialist. He was later presented the Navy achievement medal from RC Berry Rear Admiral US Navy.
Jeff traveled around the world and was very proud of his service. He also received recognition for his excellent service during his tour of duty.
After Jeff’s service in the US Navy he was employed by Teton Trailors. He was then employed by Burlington Northern Railroad. He worked on the tracks doing maintenance. He then took an early retirement.
Jeff loved his cars and his Harley Davidsons. He owned several throughout the years.
Jeff loved his black labs, Ruff and Jake.
Jeff is survived by his wife of 18 years, Sandy Galutia, his sisters, Beth Kudlak married to Kirby Kudlak, of Esterbrook, Wy., and Sue Knerl and Charlie (Deceased), of Casper, Wy.; stepchildren, Josh Brewer “Bones”, of Gillette, Wy., Clay Boatman, of Riverton, Wy., and Sasha Palmer, of Orlando Fl. Jeff is also survived by his grandchildren, Laurence Brewer, Zack Brewer, McKenzie Brewer, all of Casper, Wy., Immanuel Boatman, Escobar Boatman, of Wy., Stunner Boatman, of South Dakota, and Nephew, Aaron Kudlak and his wife Veronica, of Casper, Wyoming, and great nephew, Caleb Kudlak and his wife, Kimberly Kudlak.
Jeff is preceded in death by his parents and sister-in-law, Pam Nash.
Services for Jeff are at 1pm on Friday, February 13, 2026 at Newcomer Funeral Home with Military Honors at Oregon Trail State Veterans Cemetery at 2:30pm.
There will be a wake to follow at VFW. All are invited.
In lieu of flowers, please make donations to the Casper Humane Society, the Natrona County Veterans Council or Patriot Guard Riders.
