Jeffrey Charles Ginder was born the oldest of seven children August 7, 1949 in Effingham, Illinois to Charles and Louella Ginder. He is survived by wife Saralyn Ginder, sisters Peggy Evans and Julie Erickson, brothers Scott and Chris Ginder, as well as many nieces and nephews.

April 24, 1981, Jeff Married Saralyn Gish in Casper, WY. They had a loving marriage and partnership until Jeff’s passing, loving and supporting one another in Casper the entirety of their marriage.

Growing up, Jeff loved farming with the family in Illinois: everything from raising pigs to growing corn. His favorite hobby was always collecting and running HO model trains. He held a deep and detailed knowledge of America’s trains, train history, and train culture. Jeff participated in many of the Christmas train displays at the Three Trails Center and continued erecting displays even in his retirement home for others to enjoy.

Jeff loved his family dearly. He and his brothers and sisters hold many cherished memories: fishing, holidays, and more. He brought joy to the whole family playing Santa Clause to his nieces and nephews. Jeff was so loved by family and friends and will be greatly missed.

The family invites you to attend the viewing, rosary service, and memorial. All events will be at Newcomer’s Funeral Home:

Memorial Service: April 24th 10AM
