Jerry Clark Cover

Jerry Clark Cover, aged 86, of Casper, Wyoming, passed away on January 18, 2026. Born on April 26, 1939, in Youngstown, Ohio, Jerry was the beloved son of Randall and Ruth Cover. His journey eventually led him to make Wyoming his home, where he built a life filled with dedication and love.

At the age of 17, Jerry met Carolyn Sisemore. With conviction, he told others, "I am going to marry that girl," and true to his word, they were married in May of 1958. Their union was a testament to his commitment and determination.

Jerry pursued a career as a Master Electrician with Pacific Power and Light. He dedicated 42 years of service to the company, working extensively with sub-stations and handling higher-level power needs. His expertise and work ethic left a lasting impact on his colleagues and the industry.

After retiring from Pacific Power and Light, Jerry remained active and engaged. Never one to stay idle, he filled his days with activities he enjoyed. He was passionate about snowmobiling, fishing, and looked forward to his weekly garage sale outings. These hobbies brought him joy and enriched his retirement years.

He is survived by his wife of 68 years, Carolyn; his three children, Kim Henry of Boulder, Colorado, Jerry Cover of Rock Springs, Wyoming, and Deidra Homann of Casper, Wyoming; four grandchildren—Heather Williamson, Brandon Cover, Sheridan Schultz, and Nicole Kleemeyer—and ten great-grandchildren.

Services will be held at Newcomer’s Funeral Home in Casper on January 22, 2026, at 2:00 p.m., with visitation beginning at 1:00 p.m. for those who wish to attend. Interment will follow at Highland Cemetery.
