Kandice Taylor Gunter
A bold and everlasting impression is what you get. If you met her, you knew her. A ferocious mother, and the kindest friend. Someone who would smother you with humor and put a smile on your face in the darkest days. You simply had no choice.
A truly free spirit. Someone to accept every human as their own. Wild as the winds, and as strong as the Sierra Nevada mountains. A dedicated mother, sister, daughter, and friend.
Kandice, born to Katrina and Tracy, had traveled many miles to eventually settle in Dayton, Nevada, alongside her older sister Kayla. From Carson City, Nevada, to Homer, Michigan, and all the miles back.
She grew up through the late 90’s developing her incredible morals and character to graduate high school in 2014. From then, she would start her young adult life with Tyler Kentopp by her side. A couple short years later she would birth the lives of two baby girls, Violit Shyy, in 2016, and Penelope Irene, in 2020. Being a mother was her most cherished accomplishment.
Over the years she had immense patience and developed an understanding for the harder ways of life. Nothing came easy, and she was always able to help navigate her family’s way through. She taught the life lessons, which she had learned from, and always spread positivity throughout her social circles. She is an external flame that cannot be extinguished.
Kandice Taylor Gunter will be forever cherished by those who love her.
