In Loving Memory of Kevin Gray
October 30, 1963 – October 30, 2026
Kevin Gray passed away peacefully on October 30, 2026, on his 63rd birthday, surrounded by the love of his wife and children.
Kevin was a devoted husband, father, grandfather, brother, and friend. He was a man with a big heart, an infectious sense of humor, and a love for bringing people together. Kevin loved to cook for family and friends, and there was never a shortage of laughter, jokes, and good conversation when he was around. He had a way of making people feel welcome, and his generosity and friendship touched the lives of so many.
Kevin was the proud owner of his own restaurant, Taco Time, where his passion for food and people came together. Cooking was one of the ways Kevin showed his love, and he had a signature dish that became a family favorite: his famous Fettuccine Alfredo, affectionately named “Kevuccine.” It was more than just a meal; it was a little piece of Kevin that brought everyone together around the table. His family and friends will forever remember the laughter, stories, and love shared over a plate of Kevuccine.
Above all, Kevin cherished his family. He was incredibly proud of his son, Travis Francis Gray, and daughter, Megan Lynn Salazar, and the families they built. Being Grandpa to Owen, Evan, and Ezra brought him a special kind of happiness. His grandchildren will forever remember the love, laughter, and memories they shared with their Grandpa.
Kevin also had a deep love for the outdoors and the friendships that made life special. He loved camping and especially enjoyed spending sunny days out on his pontoon boat, fishing and listening to his favorite music. Wednesday men's golf league was another favorite tradition, where he enjoyed time on the course with some of his closest friends. Whether on the water, around a campfire, on the golf course, or gathered around a dinner table, Kevin knew how to enjoy life.
Kevin was a proud booster of the Casper Shriners and a member of the Jesters, giving his time and support to organizations and friendships that meant a great deal to him.
He also shared a special kind of love with his two dogs, Surrey and Franny, who were never far from a good cuddle and a little extra attention.
Kevin is survived by his loving wife, Heidi Lynn Gray; his son, Travis Francis Gray, and daughter-in-law, Sarah Gray; his daughter, Megan Lynn Salazar, and son-in-law, Bryan Salazar; and his three beloved grandchildren, Owen Francis Gray, Evan Wayne Gray, and Ezra Salazar.
He is also survived by his sister, Kathy Smith, and brother-in-law, Jerry Smith; his brothers, Paul Gray and sister-in-law, Julie Gray; Steven Gray and sister-in-law, Cindy Gray; and John Gray, along with extended family and countless friends who will miss him dearly.
Kevin was preceded in death by his parents, Paul Stanley Gray and Jeanne Rosalie Gray.
Kevin's life was measured not just in years, but in the memories he created, the friendships he built, the laughter he shared, and the love he gave so freely. He was an amazing husband, father, grandfather, brother, son, and friend. His presence made life a little louder, a little funnier, and a whole lot better.
Though our hearts are broken by his passing, we find comfort in knowing that the love, laughter, and memories Kevin gave us will remain forever.
He will be deeply missed, forever loved, and never forgotten.
And somewhere, we know, there will always be room for one more plate of Kevuccine.
A memorial celebrating Kevin's life will be held on Saturday, November 14, 2026, at 12:00 p.m. at the Casper Shrine Club, 1501 W 39th St, Casper, WY 82604.
Family and friends are welcome to come together to share stories, memories, laughter, and love as we celebrate a life that meant so much to so many. In true Kevin fashion, we hope the gathering will be filled with the friendship, humor, and fellowship that he brought into every room.
