Lena "Juanita" Pettigrew

Lena “Juanita” Pettigrew, loving wife, mother, and grandmother, passed away peacefully on Saturday, July 18, 2026.

Juanita was born on February 18, 1930, in London, Kentucky, to Everett and Lovell Ledford. Though widowed at a young age, she found the love of her life in Robert L. Pettigrew Jr. The two were married on June 17, 1964, and spent the next 57 wonderful years building a beautiful life together.

Juanita had a true passion for life. She loved traveling the globe and stayed active playing golf and tennis late into her years. Above all, her greatest joy was her family. Together with Robert, she created a warm, loving home where her children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren always knew they were welcome and cherished.

Juanita was preceded in death by her parents, Everett and Lovell; her beloved husband, Robert; her daughter, Karen; and her grandson, Jason. She is survived by her son, Rob, her sister Ramona, her grandchildren, Donnie, Raylyn, and Maddison; and a multitude of great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews, extended family members and friends who will miss her dearly.

A graveside service will be held on Monday, July 27, 2026 at 2:00pm at Highland Cemetery in Casper.
