Linda "Kaye" Burnett

Linda "Kaye" Burnett of Casper, Wyoming passed away August 8, 2026.

She was born 7/21/1944 in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma. The family moved to Ft. Laramie and then to Thermopolis, Wyoming where she attended school and graduated in 1962. She attended Casper College where she met Wallace Burnett. They were married in 1963. They had 3 children; Brenda, Dave, and Jim. They later divorced.

Kaye retired in 2006. She moved to Casper in 2017 to be closer to family.

She is survived by her 3 children, Dave (Carolyn); Brenda (Gordon); and Jim (Jodee); 7 grandchildren, 4 great-grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Jack and Marie; and sister, Carol.

Services will be held at 1 pm on Saturday, August 22, 2026 at Newcomer Funeral Home, 710 East 2nd Street, Casper, WY 82601.

A private burial service will be held in Thermopolis at a later date.
