Linda Susan Feezer, 77, of Casper, Wyoming passed away Thursday, August 6, 2026.
Linda was a nearly lifelong Casper resident born to John and Charlotte Mokler on January 24, 1949. She graduated from Natrona County High School in 1967 and went on to study Elementary Education at Chadron State College, graduating in 1971, and the University of Wyoming, where she obtained a Master of Education in 1975.
Linda married Steve Feezer in 1973 and they had two children, Stephanie and Joshua. They later divorced.
Linda and Steve returned to Casper where she was a long-time teacher for Natrona County School District, spending most of her teaching career at Westwood Elementary, primarily in First Grade. She enjoyed making a difference in the lives of her students.
In Linda’s younger years she was a member of the color guard of the Troopers Drum and Bugle Corp, traveling the country for performances through the drum corp season. She often reflected on these experiences and supported the Troopers and attended many competitions throughout the remainder of her life. Linda was a very patriotic person, dedicating multitudes of hours to Veterans causes through her nearly life-long membership with the American Legion Auxiliary. She was very involved at the local Casper Unit level up through district, state and regional levels-holding many different offices. Throughout her time with the Auxiliary, she was passionate about the Wyoming Girls State program, offering training opportunities throughout the spring for Juniors in Casper High Schools to prepare them for a week at Girls State, where Linda also often served on staff. She went on to support the Girls Nation Program in Washington DC for a few years as well.
Linda was preceded in death by her parents, John and Charlotte and many other family members. She is survived by her children, Stephanie (Portland, OR) and Josh (Savannah, GA), brother Ron Mokler (Wilmington, NC), step-mother Kay Mokler (Casper), sister Jonna Grube and family (Casper) as well as many extended relatives and great friend and supporter Connie Norwood.
