Linda Joy Jordan

Linda Joy Jordan, 77, of Evansville, Wyoming passed away Saturday, July 25, 2026.

Linda was born in Newell, South Dakota on March 25, 1949 to Lawrence and Jeanette Jordan. The family moved to Casper in 1967. She attended Park School of Business after graduating from Wheatland High School.

She worked for Miller Law Offices for 32 years, and then worked for WCDA for 17 years and retired in 2021. Her employment longevity is a reflection of her care for people, commitment and dedication for the welfare of all those around her.

Linda contributed to the community as a foster mom for more than 30 years. Her love for so many children was unmatched. She loved country living and her horses. She had a green thumb and enjoyed gardening. Linda showed her love for her church family by baking banana bread for after-service socials and coordinating the prayer chain.

Linda was preceded in death by her parents.

She is survived by sister, Ilene Whitley; brother, Larry (Reggie) Jordan; son, Dakota Ritter; daughter, Savannah Collier; nieces, Becky; Janine; Ryea; and Amber; nephews, Brad and L.J.

Linda's memorial service is at 1:30 pm on Saturday, August 1, 2026 at Radius Church, 4301 Casper Mountain Road, Casper, WY 82601.
