Linda Johnson Kantor

Linda Kantor passed away on January 28, 2025 after a 15-year-long battle with breast cancer.

Linda was born in Cody, Wyoming on August 10, 1948. She was the daughter of Chet and Adeline Johnson. She moved to Lander, Wyoming and graduated from Lander Valley Vocational High School. She married her high school sweetheart Tom Kantor in 1968 and moved to Casper in 1970. They were married 52 years. Children from this marriage are a daughter Kim K. Kantor and a son Tom Jared Kantor who both live in Casper. Linda helped raise a special girl that filled her life with joy, Lily Amber Balas.

Linda loved nature and spent lots of summers in her garden. She enjoyed cooking dinners for her family and friends. She struggled with her health at the young age of 36 and was told by the top physicians in Denver that "there was no hope for her." This led Linda on to an amazing soulful journey of uncovering alternative medicine and learning how to help her body restore itself. From there, she couldn't learn enough about health. She became a Naturopathic Doctor, Master Herbalist, and did Korean Sooji Acupuncture through the hand with a laser. She and her husband owned Herbs By Design. Tom Managed her business through the years and was a great partner. She loved teaching and sharing health principles. She traveled and lectured throughout the US. She coached many people back to health and loved helping others.

Linda was a student and investigator of life; she loved learning and studied many different things. She leaves a huge library of all sorts of interests behind.

Linda had a special faith in God and a unique one. She believed that challenges and difficulties were really blessings in disguise. She knew that behind every dark cloud the sky was blue and the sun was shining. She lived her life with purpose and fulfilled a destiny that gave her great joy and pleasure.
